Day 1
Welcome at your hotel or Chiang Mai airport and transfer to the Bush Camp located on the Ping River north of the city. The lush vegetation and the breathtaking view of the misty mountains, typical of the region, transport you into a singular world. You arrive late in the morning and enjoy a delicious Thai lunch before settling into your tent. In the afternoon, discover the life of the mahouts, rhythmed by the habits of the elephants and in symbiosis with the surrounding nature. You can take a walk in the park and reach out to feed the majestic Asian elephants. You will also be introduced to the lifestyle of the mahouts and their families and discover their traditions such as cooking or weaving clothes. You will taste their cuisine and help make paper out of… elephant dung. After this busy day, settle down at the Elephant Café and watch the magnificent sunset over the mountains overlooking the river and enjoy a cocktail accompanied by barbecue delicacies. For dinner, a gourmet meal of freshly prepared dishes awaits you, to conclude this magnificent day.
Day 2
You start the day with a tasty breakfast before exploring the Free Roaming Forest where the elephants are cared for. Discover culinary specialties like 'Kafee Boran' or 'kanom krok,' a traditional snack made with coffee. This is the mahouts' breakfast of choice. Then, you attend the morning bathing of the pachyderms and observe the complicity that exists between the elephants and their dedicated caretakers. You learn about breeding techniques and how care is administered by veterinarians for the well-being of the pachyderms. At the end of the morning, you return to your tent to pack your bags before enjoying a final lunch and admiring the misty horizon one last time. Check-out and transfer to your hotel in Chiang Mai or to the airport with memories full of this wonderful experience.

Elephant Hills Deluxe Bush Camp
