This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver featuring such highlights as, Stanley Park to see the collection of totem poles, English Bay, trendy Robson Street, Canada Place and the Cruise Ship Pier, Gastown, Chinatown, and many other points of interest. The afternoon is at leisure for your own exploration.

Victoria
The day begins with a cruise through the beautiful Gulf Islands, a summer retreat for residents of both - British Columbia and Washington State.

Continue by coach to Victoria, British Columbia's capital city. Back then a Gold Rush town, Victoria` pioneering heritage and traditions are well preserved in museums, art galleries, pioneer homes and great mansions. Victoria is known as the “Sunshine City of Gardens”, because of an abundance of green spaces and spectacular floral gardens. The hanging flower baskets, the buskers along the Inner Harbour, ocean vistas and the relaxing pace captivate all visitors.

Nanaimo
A morning and noon at leisure in the wonderful capital city of British Columbia. Your tour director is available to help you plan your time at leisure.

In the afternoon we drive north, passing Chemainus, a town famous for it`s wall murals, as well as Duncan, the “city of totem poles” to Nanaimo.

Day 5
Whistler
Today we cruise by ferry across the Strait of Georgia to Horseshoe Bay. Later, we drive north to Squamish, through spectacular coastal scenery, on the Sea-to-Sky-Highway. Stop at Shannon Falls.

Our destination today is Whistler Village, a famed ski centre and home to the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, now a popular year-round resort, located on the edge of Garibaldi Provincial Park.

Day 6
Kamloops
We can expect a day of dramatic scenery changes. Passing the “cowboy country” ranch land of Cache Creek, our route clings to the steep canyon walls of the Thompson & Fraser Rivers. We follow a breathtaking route through the wilderness mapped by the gold-seekers. A recommended stop is the town of Lillooet, once a boomtown during the Cariboo Gold Rush. We stop at Historic Hat Creek Ranch for a visit and a Burger Lunch included.
Late afternoon we arrive in Kamloops which means “where the rivers meet” in the Secwepemc language. Founded as a fur trading depot in 1812, later becoming a supply centre for the Cariboo Gold Rush, the city today serves as the transportation, retail and service centre for the cattle and sheep ranching industries in the southern interior of British Columbia and also as the northern gateway to the Okanagan vacation region.

Kelowna
Today we leave for the Okanagan Valley, Canada's "fruit basket". Here, semi-arid hills slide under the sun towards the enamel-blue lake and the valley lined with ranches, farms, orchards and vineyards.
We stop In Vernon to visit an orchard.
In the afternoon we arrive at the shore of Okanagan Lake in the town of Kelowna The 1895 mission was the first European settlement in the Okanagan Valley and the catalyst for its development into one of Canada’s most successful fruit, vegetable and wine producing regions. The missionaries planted fruit trees and instituted farming and ranching which attracted other settlers. Presently, one-third of all apples harvested in Canada are shipped from Kelowna. The highlight of our day today is a wine tour and in the heart of the Okanagan Valley.

Golden
The scenic drive from Kelowna to Revelstoke offers breathtaking views of the Okanagan Valley's lush vineyards and crystal-clear lakes before ascending into the towering peaks of the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains.
At Mount Revelstoke National Park you will have the chance to join your guide through the only Thuja tree rainforest in the world. A 2km board walk will take you to 500 years old cedar trees.We climb through Rogers Pass in Glacier National park.
The Selkirk Mountains receive massive amounts of winter snow and are home to over one hundred active avalanche zones. Continuation to Golden for our overnight.

Day 9
Canmore
Leaving Golden we will soon be entering Yoho National Park. Yoho represents the western slopes of the Rocky Mountains region, and is also a Cree expression of awe and wonder for this place of rock walls, spectacular waterfalls and soaring peaks.
After Yoho we cross the Kicking Horse Pass and the Continental Divide into Banff National Park. We make a stop at Lake Louise, Canada`s Jewel of the Rockies and one of the most photographed scenes in Canada!

Day 10
Canmore
Today the group enjoys a comprehensive orientation tour of Banff and surroundings. The area became Canada’s first national park in 1885 to protect its natural hot springs. Discover Banff Avenue, waterfalls of the Bow River, the lake Minnewanka and Two Jack lake, Cascade Mountain and chimneys called "hoodoos”. In the afternoon you’ll spend some time at leisure to enjoy Banff Town.

Calgary
This morning, after breakfast, we hit the road to discover the Badlands! Mysterious geological formations created by erosion that have left behind a geological treasure trove, and a paleontological wealth out of this world!
Upon arrival in Drumheller enjoy a lunch (included) and a visit of the Royal Tyrell paleo museum, the most impressive paleontologic museum in North America. Leaving the museum stop off at Horseshoe Canyon for a glimpse of the geological formations.
And afterwards, enjoy a short hike along the footbridges to discover the Hoodoos of Drumheller. Like fairy chimneys, these monoliths are a vestige of the Badlands region's geological past.
Drive to Calgary for a dinner at leisure and overnight.
Day 12
Calgary
Today we discover the Canadian capital of Rodeo, home of the Canadian Stampede, Calgary. That city located at the limit of the prairies and the Rocky Mountain represents well the western country style of Canada. Your tour director will give you an orientation tour through the city. Time at leisure.
