Day 1
The last flights from South Africa (Johannesburg) arrive mid-day. You'll be transferred to your hotel, where you can freshen up. In the late afternoon (departing around 3:45 pm from the hotel), enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine and appetizers on a cruise on the Zambezi, one of Africa's longest rivers.
Day 2
Today, you have free time to choose from a range of optional activities: stroll through the village and buy your last souvenirs at the Falls Craft Village or on Elephant Walk, go on safari to Chobe (in neighbouring Botswana), where many animals take advantage of the river to drink, the ideal place for a photo safari, or opt for a helicopter flight over the Falls for a breathtaking view and an unforgettable souvenir!
Day 3
Early in the morning, your guide will collect you from your hotel and accompany you to the entrance of Victoria Falls. During your walk, you'll be able to see the impressive waterfall, among other things. Your guide will take you back to your hotel, where you can freshen up (or dry off) before your transfer to the airport.
Day 1 - 3
A'Zambezi River Lodge ****
This African-designed lodge is located on the banks of the majestic Zambezi, just 5 km from the small town of Victoria Falls. The comfortable rooms feature en-suite bathrooms with hairdryers, air conditioning, TV and tea & coffee making facilities. Safes, wi-fi and a store are available in the common areas. Most rooms have a balcony overlooking the river or the pool, and you can take a refreshing dip in the tropical garden pool. In the evening, you can dine in one of the two restaurants or relax in the cocktail bar.
Ilala Lodge Hotel ****
Ilala Lodge is nestled in beautiful gardens on the banks of the Zambezi River, less than 2km from Victoria Falls and not far from the city center and its restaurants. Rooms are stylishly decorated and feature a terrace, and all modern comforts, including private shower room, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, fridge, tea & coffee-making facilities and safe. After your excursions, take a refreshing dip in one of the hotel's pools or sample gourmet cuisine in Ilala's award-winning Cassia restaurant under the stars. During your stay, you can visit everything on foot.
